Wake Forest University School Of Medicine Infectious Disease

Wake Forest University School Of Medicine Infectious Disease

The Infectious Disease (ID) Fellowship program at the Wake Forest of Medicine, accredited by the ACGME, provides comprehensive training in infectious disease through diverse clinical training experiences, dedicated research and career mentorship and an enriching educational environment. Our graduates are community infectious diseases physicians, academic clinician educators, physician-scientists and thought-leaders at the local, national and international levels. Each year we welcome three new fellows into the program.

Our fellowship consists of a core 2-year program with three ACGME approved positions per year of training. An optional, additional year of training is available in research, critical care, or addiction medicine.
